Hammer, curiosity got the best of me & I put T-R,QC to Yellowknive into google map directions and they gave me nearly 6000 miles (routed for an automobile). Now I know why you refer to it as a "Project". Send a few pics thru the windshield if you get the chance. Would love to see that country. Good Luck.

This was around 1989 on Hwy 50 E/B headed for S. Lake Tahoe. More beautiful country, especially after coming up thru CA central valley. Life is good when you unload in Tahoe, spend the night & go home the next day. 79 pete, 87 Murray.
Giggles the Original, Cetane+, Sleepy68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Especially if you were lucky in the casino!

Nah, it's not that far. About 5500km to Yellowknife, and I think it's about 2-300 from there. It's a new mine, so I haven't actually been able to ask anybody whose been there yet...
As far as pics go, I won't be taking any if those with something this big on the eastern Canadian roads, but I'm gonna get a GoPro to mount out on the mirror arm to hopefully get some shots/video/time lapse stuff up there.
