so true, but there is a point where the big loads get way more difficult. I never had to put a 777 on a beam in the snow like another fellow I am familiar with.

Here's something you dont see every day........ Hauled this Mig-21 from the Mojave, CA aircraft storage facility to the Santa Maria Airport 1991 or 92. Took almost all day to load and strap. The fuselage couldn't have been 4' in diameter as I remember. That's a spare engine up front.
Not big or heavy but it did have a flag on the back.

Heres a 627 I took to Pueblo, CO in Oct 88 taken at the Fresno store. I think the sunrise shot was near Elko. On the way back in Utah on 70 I came upon the other mess. Uhaul with a car dolly E/B down a long grade lost it. I stopped and a fellow pulling an empty 9 axle for Heavy Transport out of LA stopped behind me. We ran with our estinguishers but couldnt have made a dent in the fire. And 50+ miles to any town. watched............. The HT driver had delivered a crane somewhere & was driving a freightliner cabover with a 350 Detroit. Talk about patience!!!

627-Pueblo.jpg 627 sunrise.jpg GRfire.jpg Bear with me... I gotta put a few pics on cuz I'm meeting 8-9 other geezers in Vegas Thurs. & might not make it back!!!
