    Its quite embarrasing actually, any 1st year driver would have noticed the crack during his/her/its walkaround, in the dark.. Wait; when did they start putting the steering box on the right side??

    are you kidding? Ask half the drivers out there what engine is in their truck, and they can't even tell you what color it is.

    How can you tell with all that oil and gunk caked all over it??!????

    Well re read his post. They stated dual steering gear box....
    You get the bigger front ends and they will have two steering gear boxes. Makes turning a whole lot easier with like a 20k front end

    That truck will have it ^ but even my truck with 425 steer tires had it, even my 385 had dual steering boxes

    No thats a twin steer, dual steering box set ups are for bigger capacity front ends I think around 17,000 and up. There is another steering box on the right side just like the left, except it has hoses running from the left box or "master" if you will instead of a steering input shaft. It has a pitman arm and drag link just like the left side, it's there to "assist" the main box when the front end is loaded heavy.
