    Hi,

I’m making my 2nd attempt at truck driving on the 6th with Big M and I was wondering if anyone’s heard of them; also, I was told after the third day and a road skills test I’d be hitting the road with a trainer for the remaining 6 weeks and I have no idea if this is a good thing or not; previously when I was with Schneider we spent two of the three weeks at the OC practicing backing/driving around West Memphis and only on the final week did we go out delivering loads whereas with this company most of all the 6 weeks will be spent on the road; I like the idea of real world training, but I need more practice and I’m unsure if this is the best way to get it or not/if they’ll give me a chance if I can’t do things perfectly such as back.

    Best regards, John

Nothing better than getting out there and doing it. As long as you have a good trainer that is actually trying to teach you rather than running team freight.

Yeah I like that too, guess I just tend to stress out about the unknown too much; it’d be a perfect set up for me if I’m not expected to know everything and am given a chance to learn, more weeks of training sounds great as well.
