I had a cb on my 86 f150 on 37s. I was driving from Houston to Beaumont when a trucker behind me was making fun of me for having a cb. I was not responding. Then he got behind me and started flashing his highbeams. I had 4 9in Hellas on the back for people tailgating and I lit him up and took off lol. For about 30miles I had truckers trying to run me off the road. It passed and I figured I had lost him. Before the plants going into beaumont he caught me lol. He hit the high beams and was screaming over the cb for me to pull off. I slammed on the brakes and locked my hubs and took off across grass onto a side road. Actually saw him later at a truck stop near the "elagante" hotel. His name was Billy and drove for Clark ended up buying him a meal at the waffle house as a peace offering lol. Have not responded on a cb since. Lol. I have a chl but I'm not gonna shoot someone over something that was really my fault. And having that truck show up behind me an hour later had quite the pucker factor. Stay safe guys.

 

DUMB question what is " 9in Hellas "

 

Hella is a brand name of an off road lamp. The "9 inch" just refers to the size of the lamp.

I don't know if I could buy an agitated trucker dinner if I had an experience like Tcc_timbo says he did. I'd be too royally pissed and might end up serving a knuckle sandwich on a platter instead.

Lol. Ended up being the whole wife left kids hate me trucker story(both my grandpa and uncle were life long drivers). So I felt bad. And my truck is kinda one of a kind for the southeast Texas area so figured I would get recoginized.
