do not recommend.I would give them 1 star solely based on product availability. I know many people who have had their radios hacked to pieces here. While Randy does have a good reputation as a technician, I wish you luck in actually getting the radio to him.Even if you request that he work on it, they just hand it to any tech. Go back and complain about their work, and they'll try to sell you a$400 radio. That's their spiel. Also avoid the salesman they call"snackman". You can go in one day and get aprice quote on a piece of equipment, go in the next and talk to Scotty and the price will double. It may not be poor management to blame, but I've seen enough to have little trust in them.

I've heard them on the radio but never have taken anything to them. I went to get an antenna off them once but they didn't open till 11.
IMO the best shop in IN is Key CB off I-69 exit 278. They do most of Strykers warranty work.bored silly, Ougigoug and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
is randy the same randy that used to be up in PA on I 90 can't rember the name of the truck stop its been closed now for years. if it is please someone let me know. he is truly the best tech that ever worked on my radio. I'm assuming that you are referring to one of two people at hmtruk, one up in Erie only takes mail in orders and is extremely trustworthy. The second may bee from a shop that used to be called " live wire". I have personal experience with live wire back in the 90's. They got about 90 watts swing of a barefoot dx99v. I am not aware that Randy From Indy is the same guy. if either ofc these shops sound familiar,I can do some research and point you in the right direction. hope this comment was helpful

Any current info on Big O's in regard to quality of work, etc? I got a free Cobra 25 and want to see what kind of shape it's in, maybe get it paired with a good antenna and coax but I don't want a peak and tune hack job.

They closed their doors as of month ago when I stopped in. Some foreigners bought/leased the place and are turning it into a smoke shop
rabbiporkchop and Naptown Thank this. -
Well that won't do me much good...I quit smoking years ago.
