    That’s because it is incorrect. You could potentially burn a valve in the winter time running open headers a long time ago, but vast improvements have been made to valve material and seals since then.

    I have a 04 sporty and a 13 road king, neither of them need to be revved constantly....even the sporty that has a carb.
