When you are pulled over in many states and they open the door for the truck information they are looking under your seat for weapons. It is best to keep your tire thumper in the side box.

I would have done the same exact thing. But hes not getting fired, you said the company told you hes quitting.Doubt this will go on his dac. This is just one word against another.Unless someone at the company in the office like safety witnessed it then yes it would be going on his dac.But otherwise, highly unlikely.Nice thought though.

Correct. This will be tossed under the carpet. No DAC can or will be filed.Trans Am will have a ''talk'' with him and continue to RIP HIM OFF with there Lease To Go Broke Program...:biggrin_2559:And this driver will be added to the Hundreds of Thousands of Truckers PISSED OFF....:biggrin_25523:

Nice thought except even though he started it, he probably would call the cops, because bullies are usually wimps. They you'd be in trouble when it's not your fault.

My thumper has been next to my seat for 12 years, lots of inspections, never a problem.

I am at a TA as we speak having Dinner. You should here the anger, sadness, frustration and the shouting going on here. These drivers are not happy and getting screwed...So sad they won't investigate and find ''winner'' trucking outfits..

I think alot of drivers love the ABUSE.It is all they no.

That is sad. There's not awhole lot of companies that pay drivers what they're worth.I never see any real happy drivers.Trucking is nothing more then a job.The pay is deffinately insulting to the drivers intellegence but the laws make it almost impossible to make a decent living with all the sitting drivers do.As long as drivers don't unite as one and take a stand, companies will always rip the drivers off,not pay them what they're worth and the ever popular don't pay you for all loads. Then companies pay zip code to zipcode ,just imagine how many free miles the companies are getting and they get away with it becausxe the law and FMCSA will never be on the drivers side..They defend the ones with money.
