Giggles, that FedEx custom sleeper is awesome! If we were ever going to go o/o we would have to splurge on a custom with a kitchen and bathroom/shower. It's kinda like having an RV. That must have made work a lot easier and more enjoyable!

I prefer the firmness of the bottom bunk/dinette set in my Volvo 780. The top bunk mattresses in our trucks are WAY too soft.

USX has very few KW's and zero Volvos. You will likely get a International ProStar of Freightliner Cascadia. If I was a solo driver, I would buy Volvo 780 and buy a great mattress for the top bunk leaving the workstation/dinette set up all the time.

Since this post is about a big sleeper questions, I have one to add.

How does those huge super sleepers I see affect the Maximum Gross Vehicle weight, and how would you haul any max loads? I'm not wondering about the condo units, but just the max size factory sleeper.

    Thanks

Doesn't effect the max gross weight at all. 80,000 is still 80,000. My max load is 43,000. Someone with a regular sleeper may be able load a max of 50,000, but we both max out at 80,000.
