It's a component based payscale where you make a set amount per mile, stop, tailgate case, inside delivered case, backhaul, detention, etc.. but most of your pay would for mileage and cases. $58000 is realistic, with the potential to make more than that in your first year if you like running..

Anybody know if the MBM Ft. worth, TX location uses liftgates? Or is it Lewisville? I know one of them does.

Hey brtecson, I`m probably driving you nuts with questions, but did you ever find any information on the cost of health insurance?(family coverage). Also just wondering if you have many guys that are over 50 or do you pretty much have young guys working there? Also was wondering ,since you must live fairly close to the DC, if you ever applied or if you know anything about Golden State Foods in Whitewater. I talked to a driver over the summer and he said that they might being hiring come spring. Thanks payitforward

There are plenty of guys 50 and above in foodservice. Just depends on what kind of shape you are in ..I saw an MBM guy who had to be around 60 delivering to olive garden. And he had a liftgate and was rolling a power jack to the back door. Not all DC's are ramps and dollys ..some drivers have it easier than others just depending on what center they're from or what routes they run.

Well the MBM center I've been applying to (with no calls back) is having an on site hiring session this week. Gonna go see what they have to say. Wish me luck!

Hey whats going on. I'm strongly considering MBM in Ga. May you please give me some info on how much they pay, what the hrs are?
-
Your questions are no problem, sorry I cant reply sooner. There are a lot of guys over 50 working there, probably half of the drivers are over 50 but they're all in relatively good shape.. GSF is a great company to work for too, very low turnover, great equipment/pay. They do all McDonalds and have been doing them for a long time so it should be steady work... Check your PM..
