The hiring process takes forever, Probly the worst part about working here, lol. Don't give up if you've compleated your app. right they'll call. The Ft. Worth center used to do Darden resturants but they just lost that account. I think they do just Carl's JR., McAllaster's, Denny's and maybe a new one. They do have lift gates and pallet jacks at that center as well. The Lewisville center does Burger King and Chick-Fil-A unless they've changed. No lift gates there, but most Chick-Fill-A come out and get the stuff anyway.

I don't want to give anybody the wrong impression about the pay here. As i stated at the begining of this thread, i was already here 1 1/2 years when i came back they started me back at full pay. That said a new hire can easily make 60k here the first year, i just don't want anybody to think i've lead them to belive they'll make 70-80k the first year. So just so we're clear first year should gross 55-65k. After that you can make over 70k if ya' want to work.

Hey there ... thought of you as I rolled through OKC the other day. Last we spoke you were in Mira Loma and with JCT. Glad you got back with MBM and life has smoothed out. BTW, Alan left JCT and is pulling containers for JB Hunt out of the Dallas area. Take care

Tried to send this in a message but it wouldn't work BigR. But thanks a lot for all that information. I'm hoping Ft. Worth calls me because the lift gates sound real good to me! lol and I will be sure not to get on her bad side thanks for the heads up. But if I dont hear something in a few weeks I'll definitely let you know. Couple questions though.. I know new hires don't have a set schedule as I have read in the posts. I do like a lot of home time so what would the schedule be like? or would there even be a real schedule. Also, I saw you used to live an hour and a half away from your center and they would put you up in a motel room for your off periods. I live about 2 hours from the Ft. Worth center, a little less from the Lewisville center. So do you think they would do that for me as well? or would possibly moving closer to that be a better option. Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it.

Well, they probpy would get ya' a motel for your 10 hr. break between routes, but if you lived closer you would be able to get home for the night between routes and your 34 every week. As far as a schedule goes you'll have to wait till routes are up for bid, usually every 6 months or so, but every center is different. Until then you'll be on the extra board meaning you'll probly take a lot of different routes and your day off probly won't be the same every week. Runnin' the extra board is a good thing when you first start, imo. That way you'll have an idea what routes you like and what places you'd rather not go to again when they are up for bid.

Buy the way JRUT how far are you from Houston? We actualy have some guys that live down there that work for our center. We shuttle routes down to them, meet in Ft. Worth or Fairfield and swap out then they deliver the route. They do all the Houston area now so we don't have to go down there anymore, not that i miss it, lol.

Wow!! Alan left JCT? Have'nt been to that thread in awhile, guess im gonna' have to do some catchin' up when i get time, lol. Good hearin' from ya' Runnin', maybe some day we'll meet up, lol.
