I haven't done any MS rides, mostly a bunch of centuries around the mid/southwest, including Hotter'n'Hell. As I get older, I've had to accept that my fast-twitch muscles are being replaced by slow-twitch. Bad for sprints, but good for endurance. So, no more riding with CARVE, more riding the touring bike. No big loss, as going places was always the big charm for me anyway.
I think it'd be cool for trucking bicyclists to be more in touch, maybe even share good accessible trails and bike routes around the country. The Katy Trail in MO, for instance, probably has plenty of places to park within easy riding distance of the trail itself. I parked at the Creve Coeur airport, but I knew some of the employees back then. They have fly-in lunches just about every weekend, if I remember right.
