Bill would eliminate trucking program with Mexico

Good,....Glad to here something good might happen with this congress,....

The above summarizes why Mexican trucks have no business running up here.

Look, this is not a racist issue as many groups have pointed out in the past.
These drivers (Mexicans) are overworked and underpaid and the Mexican carriers have helped to drag rates down and keep them down to appease some of those cheap a-z-zed shippers.
I just wish Dorgan was around 5 years ago when CA allowed Mexican dump trucks to operate on the FEMA type jobs that traditionally were for American carriers.

 

They should have never been allowed in to begin with.

 

The blame goes all the way back Clinton for buying into NAFTA.
NAFTA has yet to yield any benefit to Americans.

The facts don't back up any claim that NAFTA has not benefited any Americans.

All I have seen NAFTA do is ship jobs and work overseas,..............
