I saw that on NBC's World News last night, and I kept wondering....Does William Bonney really care at this point in time?? Or is he still hangin out in N.M.?
-
Well it's too late to get any new eye witness accounts of the things that happened back in Lincoln County. But I'm sure there was two sides to this mess......
-
Who cares?...The guy's been dead for a real long time!
For anyone at any level of government to be paying any attention to this for any reason is indicative of the greater problems that our society faces today. -
Yeah, and sometimes I wonder if that imbecile in the photo is really Billy the Kid... The Kid was supposed to be slicker and faster than greased lightning, and that dude there looks like a mental defective. Having said that, I like that country over there in Lincoln County, used to run through there quite often as an alternate route... that country round Ruidoso is beautiful in spring and fall, with all those trees down by the river.

No one that has killed 9 to 21 people deserves a pardon.
We sensationalize and turn cold blooded killers into hero's because of Hollywoods rendition on the big screen.
He was a habitual criminal, cold blooded killer, and in todays world would be ranked with the likes of Ted Bundy.Raincatcher and PurpleKW Thank this. -
Today he would be considered either a psycho- or sociopath, and I agree any government official spending time on it is a complete and total waste.
PurpleKW Thanks this. -
Got that right... enough problems in modern society without government fools wasting tax dollars on this nonsense.
