    I only found one mount for a bird perch mount which is a z perch mount 39.99 is there a cheaper alternative?

    How about fabricating a mount? Five bucks worth of stainless steel should do the trick. If not mechanically inclined, $39.95 Is a good deal.

    The TOP GUN TECH Z-Mount (Bobs CB Shop) mounts to the passenger side curb mirror bolts.

    I stopped at CLAYS CB SHOP a few days ago and Robert did a take-off of the rear-view mirror mounts. So stainless steel medium or heavy duty brackets will be available in the not distant future.

    Below are his New Model Cascadia mounts. The 579 will be similar.
