I put in a request to withdraw from my vacation bank on 4/23/25. On 4/25/25 it was approved to be paid out in the next check. Pay period ends 4/26. I quit 4/28/25. They did not pay it out claiming I forfeit for quitting without notice what was allready to be included in pay period prior to termination. That week I had 2 seperate detention requests for loads exceeding 6 hours wait. Waiting for trailer repair next 2 days. They deliberately did not process and pay those NSPR for hours I worked and sat in the truck. I will be pursuing a wage dispute. Even when you leave the ugliness here you will still be feeling it. I worked had enough to make 80000 a year at .55 cpm.

 

I have no idea what kind of stunt you've pulled.
I've quit last year. Walked in, talked to the manager of driver's services about the timing. I had to leave immediately, had the new job lined up already.
I got all the money paid out down to the last cent.

 

Always quit AFTER you've taken your vacation time. Lots of times when you put your notice in they'll fire you on the spot.

 

Show up with a gun and your going to be the one in cuffs. Cop's are not going to allow that anywhere. Your exactly who the anti-gun nuts use as a poster child.

 

The trick is to smear gunpowder all over your face like John Randle of the Vikings so they know you are serious yet sophisticated.

Also acceptable (and as equally refined) is beginning all conversations by inserting a mouthpiece.

Just file with the labour board and move on. Been 8 months on my claim with another carrier, still not assigned to an investigator yet, so move on and wait for the claim.
