I'd try to get the accident report if you can and then write your explanation so when you need to apply for a job you can tell your side of the story. Not to bad mouth you but you should have done that when it happened. But that's history and now all you can do is damage control.

I misunderstood and thought you said they were chargeable accidents. If they reports say all what you just said I don't think you have anything to worry about. Especially since one got a ticket for running the stop sign. Of course your anti-gravity system wasn't working so you couldn't just float over the car so you might be at fault. I wouldn't worry about either one of them ,however, if there's any place for rebuttal I would take the time and write out your side of what happened.

I am wondering since things are slow at work and I have been reading a lot of post! Concerning D.A.C, USIS if a company puts a statement on your report that is false or misleading that causes a person to lose out on future jobs. Can a person be succsessful at suing said company. Just checking to see if anyone has ever tried?

I the dac is a black list and needs to be taken to court for all the driver that can't get work because of what thay report, and the companys that send the data need to pay for the lost wages of those drivers, I hope to talk to a lawyer soon to see if trucker could bring a class action against dac and the companys that try to use dac to black list driver stay tuned for more info

I am interested in who your lawyer is. I can't find one that will take my case! I had 6 accidents on my dac. Filed dispute with dac, talked, emailed with them for 2 months. The company won't even correspond with me! Sent documents to dac. They did remove 2 of the accidents, but I don't know if the company is still saying I have 6. But now my dac has me employed with the same twice during the same time frame. Employment 1 with 1 accident and employment 2 with 3 accidents. I found out after a year and a half that they had one as preventable that wasn't, but they handled it and I guess paid, but did not involve me, even though I was an owner operator. I have since talked to the officer that did the report and he says he must have miss understood me but it was a no fault accident by state standards and he put that I had no contributing factor in the accident. But the company is still saying preventable! have a couple of equipment malfunctions and they list those as accidents and preventable. I could use a good lawyer that would take on a contingency fee as I haven't been able to get work for the last 4 months. Dac just says take it up with the company!

Yes, a prospective employer will probably think they were preventable if it does not state non-preventable!

You can stop posting this same thing on every #### thread on the board.
Knock it off already! -
how can you fail a test when the tester asks you to list all medications you are taking? if they were legal and you have proof, then you would have a case against them.

Their should be a class action lawsuit against D.A.C. They are a reporting company that only reports against drivers. They do not report against companies.
