Black Ice Detection technology

That's what I wonder about with trucks that have the collision radar garbage in them. I thought that was the drivers job.
The moron in the white peterbilt ( FedEx ) that was over 2 feet into my lane last night on the 287 in the pan handle could use one of those though. Would have been head on.
Fortunately I don't use that garbage , so I'm still here today.

 

I don't really want them either, but... it will likely cut road fatalities in half once there is a majority. Remove a lot of the distracted drivers, drunk drivers, etc...
