I worked for Blackhawk on and off for several years. Most of the people there are top notch great people but a few are out for only themselves and will not hesitate to throw you under the bus. They will give you all the freight you can handle when they have it and push you to your limits if you let them, but just like a lot of companies they will act like they had no idea what you were doing if something happens and you get caught running illegal. They are definitely more profit than safety. If Ive learned one thing it's that you cant run that way forever. If you want to run that way right up until you get caught Blackhawk has a home for you. Dont let them lie to you either, it's forced dispatch. Take the load you're given or sit and if you sit enough you'll be let go.

 

Hmmm, I was looking to go with them or Regal Beloit in a few years once I build some exp, but I'll def have to re-evaulate them once that time comes and maybe things will be improved.

 

Anybody have any up to date information?
