Get a test light 1 check BOTH sides of the fuse for power 2 pull flasher check for power , one side should have power 3 if you have power at both sides of the fuse and one side of the flasher replace flasher 4 with tractor running apply foot brake check for TRACTOR brake lights, with brake still applied switch to left signal , this should cancel the left TRACTOR brake light if it does do the same test for right signal if this works it pretty much shows that the signal switch is OK (this does not apply to trailer brake lights) 5 post the results of your findings
A bulb lights up... What you posted a picture of was a relay switch! IROC, I vote for the turn signal switch. Costs range between $70 to $100 & they are so easy a change... A Monkey can do it blindfolded!
When you are correcting people try to BE correct that is a signal flasher why swap out the signal switch with out trouble shooting???
How 'bout NO that pic is of a 2 prong flasher. A relay would need 4 terminals power in signal in ground load out But we' just getting into terminology
I had somewhat of a similar issue. Flashers would work but for less than 30 seconds. You could here the "tick-tick" of the flasher, but no lights. I upgraded trailers and the new trailer had additional turn lights and such. Upgraded the flasher unit to handle more bulbs and all's been fine.
Hey, I had same issue in my pete.I took the dash panel off and re connected the wires and than ALL GOOD
