Does anyone know how to put the E-Log on “airplane mode”? Specifically on a Qualcomm!

I’m not too happy about living 24/7 next to what is essentially a miniature cell tower/ WiFi router on the back of the cab.

This is a picture of the unit on the outside of the cab. I’m not sure why the photo was automatically rotated when uploaded.

You know that's just an antenna, right? And that 'airplane mode' would render the unit inoperable? And that you probably mainline more passive EMF talking/playing games on your phone than you're receiving from the qualcomm?

Those devices need a signal (cellular, GPS, etc) to work properly. There is no reliable evidence that cell signals, GPS, WiFi cause damage or are harmful to humans in any way. Second, the radiation that you're so concerned with is so minute it's not worth even talking about.

You will not be able to disable that system for long periods of time. At some point, the company will call the truck in and have the system inspected. More than one driver has attempted to do this. If you don't want that system around you I suggest changing jobs, maybe get a local job driving a day cab etc.
