I don't know if I'm lame for asking but during the winter months I'm supposed to use a block heater on my truck when it gets below 40 degrees. I didn't hear about this in school so I'm not familiar. What is it?

Its basically an electrically powered metal coil that keeps the engine oil warm so the engine will start easier.. I would say to save it unless it is well below freezing and you park the truck for more that 8 - 10 hours..

You might have to plug it is when it's 40* or 0*. Every truck starts in the cold differently. Plug it in 2 hours before.

Some trucks have the plug under the drivers door, some have it by the motor. You'll have to look for it. 3-prong plug
