Blocked In Strategy

I just won't park at truck stops. Fortunately it works with how I run

 

I have not slept overnight at a truck stop in a long time for this reason.

 

I have a few strategies when I park to avoid that. I look out ahead and imagine if there's any way some muppet could block me in. If it's a drive way directly in front, that's ideal.

 

I too have had it happen when I thought there was no way it could happen. I park at truck stops about 5 times a year, if that.

 

Even the smaller rest areas can be tricky these days.

 

I was just going to reply about the rest areas too. You can find drivers trying to be creative and park side by side behind a row of correctly parked trucks and when the parked driver leaves no one can use the proper parking spaces because of these non-caring drivers.

 

Man, the parking game’s turning into a nightmare. Tight spots are one thing, but people treating pullouts like bumper cars? That’s a whole new level of stupid.

 

That’s one thing I do like about going local home every night. 2-3 trucks maybe in the yard so room to park. No worry about parking for the night.

 

That one pisses me off even more. I can't believe they don't ticket for that. Those guys block 10 spaces doing that crap.
