I was at the pilot in hagerstown,md last week and a CRST truck pulled in, and the they sat there at the pump eating, didnt even get fuel! u.s. express has nothing on the stupidity ive seen from companies like CRST, falcon, and super service. and thats not even counting the ##### russian drivers that seem to be multiplying out here.

It may not change but its ok to apply a little 5th wheel grease to the door handles, only to assist them in opening the door of course. Collecting seals is good also.

I watched outside of Indy today a woman driving for Robbie D Wood and a Hornady flatbedder scream back and forth at each other. She was blocking the pumps and when he(hornady driver) asked her to move she told him "Go f yourself". From there it was game on.

Now I have to agree that sitting at a fuel pump while you go get something to eat or "shower" is a no-no. But...

What may seem like blocking a fuel pump to one may be actually taking care of business to the supposed offender. Case in point. The other evening I needed fuel. I had weighed after loading and after adjustment was OK on my drives to get me down the road to my fuel stop @ 250 miles away. Once there I needed to know exactly how much fuel I could put on to get me to my drop. Normally I would weigh and park, then go fuel. It was late and just getting to the scale was a problem. So I weighed, pulled up to an open pump went in . Stood behind the little old lady buying smokes, the guy with the giant slurppy, the guy who had to fax something, then I got my ticket. Now this time there wasn't anyone behind me but had there been they may have thought I was blocking the pump and done something stupid.

My point is that there are real reasons ( besides the BS ones) that someone is at a pump and not pumping at the moment, it may appear that they are blocking the pump. You do what you have to do, take care of your business and move on.

I was sitting for 50 minutes at a pump trying to get fuel today. 5 trips into the store what a joke.

The first time I went in I noticed some loud person yacking it up in the store. Later when I was finally pumping fuel I notice loud guy jump out of his truck, parked at the end bay, and head over to his buddy that just rolled in for fuel. I pulled up, went inside, came out and they were still yacking.

I doubt i could have whooped him. doubt i could get away with it if i could. Thats probably why people do things like this.

People in a big hurry can be just as PITA as people in no hurry at all. Just take a deep breathe, and remember life is short, too short to let someone else dictate your mood.

It's one thing to park like that to run in for a scale ticket, Wait in line and come back to your truck to find the driver ahead of you has left, but in the video, he said, that that truck had been there for about 30 minutes or so, Now thats far to long, Reuckers use to have a common respect for one another, Thats a shame, it's gone, There are very few REAL truck drivers left in this country, where a dieing breed, for the one's that keep saying,"beating a dead horse", And it's not going to change", With attitudes like yours?, It wont, But if more driver open there mouths about it, Speak up to the driver who's blocking the fuel island, You just might get some where,,,, YOU KNOW WHAT!!!, I'M DONE, IT'S IDIOTS LIKE THE POSTERS WITH THE BEATING A DEAD HORSE PICTURE, AND THE YOU CANT CHANGE IT ATTITUDES!, ITS PEOPLE LIKE THIS THAT CHANGED THIS INDUSTRY TO THE WAS IT IS NOW!, THIS USE TO BE A FUN, REWARDING, JOB, THAT WE USE TO GET PAID DECENT MONEY FOR!!, IN THE PAST 10-15 YEARS I DONT THINK THIS COUNTRY HAS PRODUCED ANY REAL TRUCK DRIVERS!, JUST STEERING WHEEL HOLDERS, AND I'M GLAD I KEPT MY BOY'S FROM THIS INDUSTRY!!.

When my boy's where young and came with me on a few runs, they use to sede how this industry was, they would see how drivers talked with one another and help one another, They would see me, have a conversation with another driver, and ask me?, Do you know that guy?, I would tell them, "I do now", Now a day's, I tell them, When they ask me, why i didnt want them to drive a truck like I did?, and I would have to tell them that this industry is not like they remeber it!, It has changed so far for the worce, I have about 15 years before I can retire, Hopefully, I'll be able to, with this OBAMANATION we're in, It's questionable, If he gets 4 more years, We're doomed, but thats another topic?, Just hope i dont see the total end of REAL truck drivers
