shovel...your right...but I like to have things working as they should. If something is done I like to be the one that does it, and know exactly what it will do and why. Guess I'm kind of OCD like that...but when something fails...I want to make sure of what did it...want to have all the bases covered. And want to get a good baseline for ECM upgrades in the future. Can't do that if its not right from the get go.

He couldn't change any other numbers or flash files in the ECM without having a password generator. I doubt he's done anything more than the trim numbers.
Each injectors has it's own number printed on the tappet or solenoid. If you look at the ECM trim numbers with CAT ET, you should see 6 different 4 digit trim numbers for each injector programmed into the ECM. If they all have the same number at each cylinder, then you'll have to remove the valve covers to read the original number on each injector to be able to reprogram them back into the ECMSAR Thanks this. -
Thanks Mr Haney. I remember him saying something about running some of the trucks with the same number that it wouldn't make a difference. The more I read the more I see he was wrong.
He didn't have a password generator. Thanks again. Would you mind taking a look at my thread about the valve actuators? I have read alot on the forum about them....but the codes they were getting are not what I'm getting. I'm thinking harness...but wanted to get some experienced opinions. Thanks. Will probably pull valve cover tomorrow. -
