Blood pressure and DOT physical

So I had my DOT physical yesterday and my BP was 142/73, I got sent home. They gave me a letter to give to my primary care physical to get his opinion I guess. How long will it take for my doctor to check if actually have high blood pressure or not? is it just one visit to the doctor and he checks the medical records or something then signs the letter off so i can go back to school? I dont understand the process of what im supposed to do next to get back to school ASAP.

 

Make sure your not drinking caffeine or any stimulates the day of your physical including your morning coffee.

 

Depends on the company. They could have kept you per Dot and you gotten a year card but they apparently want a 2 year card.
