Medical textbooks say the 'perfect' blood pressure is 120/80, so I guess you got it about right!!
The top number changes all the time, minute to minute according to what you are doing. So if you are lying down, and then stand up, it will shoot up, then rest back a little, then increase if you go running,etc.
The bottom reading is the one they are interested in, that its a long-term number, and says a lot about your general fitness. What pushes it up are things like obesity, smoking, high cholesterol, heart problems, etc, so its a good clue to doctors that something is wrong. Pressure builds becuase either the blood vessels are gummed up, or because the blood is too thick to get through. Sometimes both.
Seriously high readings, like 130 and above, (remember this is the second number, not the first!) show life-threatening problems, maybe even an imminent stroke or heart attack.
So whatever, you are doing ...............keep doing it! -

I eat eggs and bacon religously, mine is roughly the same. I wouldn't know what to do, if I had to give them up. -
Me too I eat eggs, bacon, pizza I am over weight I quit smoking 3 month ago and I'm 40 years old so I guess I'm doing ok.. Thank for your help
