I will have to look that one up. I don't remember seeing anything that said once you were on meds you could only get a one yr.

I got a 2 year this year on meds as well. Bp was way lower than Stage 1.
-
Just regular old Bayer Aspiring. From the reading I have done, less is more. Around 75mg is all it takes. Higher dosage can have side effects.
-
I should have specified BP meds but I was wrong about always having a 1 year card after being on medication

I just went in a couple of weeks ago and my bp was 130 / 83...Im happy with that. Im on 2 different BP meds along with a diuretic. He upped one of the BP meds because my ticker was rather fast sitting down....but I had been having some panic attacks lately prior to that so I was kind of freaked out...hence the high BP.
But on the plus side, I had lost 9lbs in the previous two months. Im right now at 346ish...I've been trying to cut back on the pop because:
A) I dont want to drink 400 calories at a time, in each one liter.
B) The caffeine makes me feel punky.
I usually would buy diet pops which have no calories, but they have caffeine...grr! I don't drink enough water so often when Id buy a pop, thats all that would be in my system...caffeine. So really the only choice for me would be something like a diet sprite or 7up...but no truck stop Ive been to carries them in 1 liter bottles...so I just take some old 1 liter bottles and fill them up in the morning and then refill them halfway through the day.
I used to know of a website from a truck driver who has created his own diet and lost a ton of weight...but I can't remember the website. I know he used to call into Dave Nemos show and mention it about once or twice a week. However, that too wasn't based around flavor, lol. Basically, he bought canned tuna and crackers...spinach and a bunch of other stuff. But he DID lose a bunch of weight.
I know for me (sorry for the long post)...I got into a oatmeal kick a few weeks ago and wow! What I did was take two packets of oatmeal and eat that for breakfast. Id take a banana with me (snack and to bring potassium levels up due to the diuretic)...and I would often be full all the way through to dinner.
Maybe that could be tied into my panic attacks and how I didn't feel like eating anything during that time, lol....but the oatmeal really did fill me up. -
Sometimes less is more, try not chewing so much while your driving. That would probably work better than trying to exercise while your driving.
LOL
