    That career path never interested me. Im just concerned because my grandmother, mother and multiple aunts have all had diabetes or pre diabetes. Granted all didn t get it until after mid life

    wrong. most type 2's find out years later. it's called pre diabetes and a lot of people have no symptoms

    parker- go to your grandmother and have her test you first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything. that number should be less than 100. then test again 2 hours after eating lunch or dinner. that number should be less than 120-140. if you can't do that then like crappie said go to walmart and buy a relion meter for @ $17 and one bottle of 50 test strips for $9. hopefully you can afford that, it's less than a doctors visit.

    Ok so just ask her to check my blood sugar with her little test kit. Then test again later that night. Whats the absolute highest to have and still pass

    Yeah. Thats how it would work. Not sure of the numbers for a normal person cause I have numbers I hit for a diabetic.
