    I don't want to go into full details because of legalities, but let me just say that regardless of your A1C and diagnoses you can get a 2 year card as long as you have no sugar in your urine. Even if you do have a small amount and they poke your finger, if your sugar isn't too high they may accept "I had breakfast at (insert local restaurant) before coming, pancakes with syrup and orange juice" and still give you a 2 year card.

    I can neither confirm nor deny this....cus I've totally never lied to a doctor about my diabetes to get a 2 year card before
