Blower for frac sand

    Trying to learn about the frac sand hauling business. Whats a reasonable price for a blower? Does it go installed on the truck or trailer? Will my truck need a Apu to run the blower? What a reasonable price for a used one blower with installation?

    The pricing for blowers has been jumping like crazy lately. Depending on what type you get, the price will fluctuate. Seems like GD and Tuthills are most popular. I wouldn't expect to pay less than $8k to include installation for brand new and that is cheaper than alot of places. The blower rides on the back of the truck and is usually PTO driven. Hope this helps.
