    It will be fine till it's not. Could go a few months or a year. Just watch the coolant loss. Ran my cat for a few months till one day it started drinking coolant and smoking white. Drove it 100 miles home and rebuilt it. Probably shouldn't have drove it home but did. Coolant in oil at that point.

    If you are over the road I would fix it sooner than later at a shop of your choice vs fixing 1000 miles away at unknown shop

    Definitely do not overlook the air compressor.

    With zero engine/truck info we could also suggested air operated heater controls as well if the truck is older.
