Blue Crap on Cat Reman Head

    Just getting ready to start srewing this C15 back together and was wondering what you guys use to clean off the blue grease that Cat slathers all over the reman head and cam? They sure are generous with it!!

    A little brake clean. Then grease what you need to grease.

    ps: I hope you had your hard hat on when they "loaded" the container for ya!!

    We just use the hot pressure washer to remove the grease, plug all the intake side ports first. Then just blow it dry, be sure to get the exhaust ports dry.
