With my Blue Parrott I could be driving along at 60 mph with the driver's side window down and the party on the other side of the call couldn't hear any background noise.

I had a Blue Parrot v2.4 and it was awesome. Then I left it home one time and had to buy another. The new one was a v3.0 and the sound quality sucked in comparison to the older one.

Fast forward a few years, my v2.4 finally crapped out and it was time to buy another. I did not go with another Blue Parrot because of the aforementioned sound quality problems with the newer ones. I ended up with a Blue Tiger Elite...

    Pros:
Excellent sound quality on both ends.

Connects instantly to the phone... no pause or having to tell incoming callers to hang on while the headset connects.

The battery lasts so long, you'll forget it even needs charging.

Has a micro USB charging port instead of a proprietary plug.

    Cons:
The headband adjustment slider loosens up after a while and becomes useless. Had to stick it in place with some hot glue.

The button to turn it on and off is in a bad place--at the pivot point on the boom. Turning your head to look sideways easily disconnects your call when the button bumps against the seat back.

I have a blue parrot 250 xt. Have been using it several years. No worries. Haven't even felt a replacement is needed at all yet.
