For the Jawbone preachers out there... I'm glad you are enjoying them.
For me, however (and MANY other people, read the reviews!), it is a pain in the rear. They are terribly uncomfortable and will not stay on no matter which combination of ear loops or the round parts you use. If I put it on and simply turn my head a few times (like I would normally do while driving) it will simply fall out.
I do like that I can charge it through a USB port on my PC or my inverter. I also like the volume I get out of it, I just wish it was comfortable.
I've ordered some of the Jabra ear gels, so we'll see how that helps. Allegedly it's the only way to remedy the problem.
Bluetooth Headset???

Oh yeah you can tell a difference alright. For me and my wife its the opposite of your experience.
Blue eagle sux, blue parrot just keeps right on going and going and going and going........... oh wait thats the energizer bunny.
Any way for us the blue eagle didn't work out so well.
I would upgrade to the new 250 but my other one hasn't quit yet.
From day one new the blue eagle didn't work very good. Traded it in for another new one....... same thing. Battery life never came close to comparing to the blue parrot. Eventually she threw it away and had me buy her a blue parrot... like mine.Ken Thanks this. -
Ive had the chance to see the new b250xt and it looks good. -
Well, just thought I would report that with the Jabra EarGels, the comfort level is MUCH improved. It will actually stay in my ear, and I can not even tell I'm wearing it.

The Silverado Headset is by far the BEST headset out currently. Its the upgrade from the blue parrot. The newest silverado, has a 23 hour talk time and about 590 hour stand by. It comes with both charges, car and home. It can also be charged by your laptop. This headset allows you to leave your cell phone in the cab of your truck and walk around to trailer of your truck, Still connected. All background noise is gone with this headset. You can stand next to the truck with it running while fueling and it's absolutly crystal clear. The volume is another benefit, goes up soo high that you'll need to turn it down. And the best part, it comes with a 1 year warrenty. All you need to do it keep your box and reciept.

From their website talk time is 15 hrs and approx 480 hrs stand by. I think
the sales guy was feeding you a typical sales pitch.
That is a lot of time no doubt. I'm just saying maybe the sales guy pulled your leg on the battery life.
What else might he have pulled your leg on? -
Ive tried many many and The Blue Parrot B250XT is the hands down winner!
-
No, you were reading about the Silverado Blue. The new Silverado Platinum does have all the features I mentioned above. It just came out about a week ago, and comes with a price tag of about 159.99. However, this headset will be worth every cent spent on it. Promised!

I bought a Blue Parrot off eBay for 75.00 a few months ago and I must say it is the best I have tried hands down, not a single complaint.

By far the Blue Parrot doesn't even come close. So my Wife uses the blue Parrot now. LOL
