My experience was the opposite.
The Blue Parrot BT250 is so superior that I gave the blue eagle POS to the wife. It wasn't long and she wouldn't use it because it was such a POS.
I'm not saying I wanted my wife to have junk, just that the blue eagle wouldn't operate in the truck environment. It was slightly tolerable around home...... for a little bit.

She uses it in the car to talk to me. She likes the hands free and the car isn't near as load as the truck so it works for her.
It's like Ford and Chevy. I drive a ford and let my wife drive the Chevy. LOL -
I have the blue parrot as well. I've charged it upon 12 Volts without problems but it will last longer charging on the inverter

Maybe they gave me a bad one. The one we had sucked so much axx it didn't hang around long. -
I have been using the little bitty motorola 810's for years. You guys just about have me ready to try one of these parrot brand sets. Just dont know how I am gonna like having something the size of a bucket hanging off my head. Guess ill pretend I am an airplane pilot or something

Where do you get the Silverado headset? Sounds interesting. I really like the BP, but I can't walk to the back of a trailer without bringing the phone.

Ok on you guys advice I purchased a Blue Parrot BT250. So far its a love/hate relationship. I am impressed with the sound deadening. Talking to my dad on the phone the other day, I rolled truck windows down at 70mph. He could barely tell the difference. He thought there might be a little breeze in the background, and not all hell breaking loose inside the cab like there really was.
Most of my issues have been between the phone and the headset. Not connecting when I want it to. I have had to pair with the device twice now. It may be my phone, but none of my other headsets did this. Any advice?
That, and do you guys leave your head set turned on (flashing blue light) or do you turn it off every time you are done using it. This is about my least favorite part of the headset.
Dont get me wrong, I really like how freaking loud that speaker is, and I also like being heard. Those two get two thumbs up. Just trying to figure out how to get along a little better with the rest of it. -

you can turn the flashing blue light off

Has anyone tried the Blue Parrot XPRESSWAY yet? They look a little lighter and have multiple wearing options..
Not sure if it's an upgrade over the 250 or just repackaged to be smaller.
I think I might give it a try.. I like the single ear wearing option..
