Our office got rid of (I think) 5 people, and one has to reapply for her job because it’s description is changing.

They also canned one manager, who was the newest at only just over 2 years, but also the most knowledgeable, proactive, and helpful.

Most of the long time managers are just above the level of “paperweight” as far as I’m concerned.

@06driver if PN is going to be our base of pay, it needs to match the odometer.

Maybe I’ll start writing up every single #### truck at EWW.

Arkansas has Filial Laws in place that if you do not take care of your elder parents you will be prosecuted and jailed and the parent involved would be stripped of property through Family court and transported to a living facility against his or her will as wards of the state, the only income that is protected is SSI. ALL other income that parent has is taken and used to meet federal guidelines on nutrition etc.

We have one relative that we are working on. It's a matter of time. However the laws are there.

62 is a pretty bad age to file SS, It's 1100 a month. however if you are able to hold on until about 68 you will gain a minimum of 1500 for life. I think at 70 you actually get up to 1850 for life, Not sure exactly on this.

By the time I file SSA is not expected to continue to exist after imposing a mandatory 24% across the board around 2032 or so give or take a few years. At the moment COLA being paid out through inflation and falling dollar is going to more than make up for that pending loss of 24% in monthly benefits when the time comes to cut it across the board. I gained about 3.1% last year, I expect around 5% or so this year. I know the Government wants to hold it down to 2% but I don't think they will have a choice anymore. Literally a butterfly wing going flapping out of the gigantic cocoon to generate a pursuer typhoon of debt.

Just what we were told way back when. My odometer this week has been 300k off all week but the mileage from point a to b has been right.

Write it up again for another update. Maybe they can even fix the charging issue. :(

    Isn't that the truth!
I have been "escorted" out of a building in the past. It is NOT a pleasant experience.

Over the years, I have learned NOT to have any personal items or unneeded items in the workplace, whether it be in one's desk or locker.
Keep the desk or locker as empty as possible. Keep only the bare essentials, or things that you can afford to lose if you cannot get access to your belongings, due to being terminated or "let go".
If one gets terminated or "let go", one basically has just himself or herself to leave with.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Many years ago, when I was active duty in the U.S. Navy, there was an engine man 1st. class petty officer, (pay grade E-6), who had all his belongings stuffed into his sea bag, along with a set of transfer orders to another ship, handed to him before he had a chance to go aboard his current ship. The engine man 1st. class petty officer had just returned from being on leave.

By the GRACE OF GOD, the engine man 1st. class petty officer was NOT discharged from the U.S. Navy. At the time, he had 14 years of active duty under his belt, 6 years away from his 20 year retirement pension.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
