Board to take comments on driver health

The public will be able to submit comments until Oct. 20 on truck driver physical qualification issues to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

FMCSAs Medical Review Board will meet Oct. 6 in Alexandria, Va., where the public will be able to participate in the agencys medical standards deliberations. Board members will provide science-based guidance to establish realistic and responsible medical standards for the agency to consider in updating driver physical qualifications.
