    1000 miles=$3000
500 miles= $1600 but only if quick reload to catch back up to the other guy . Otherwise $1800
With fuel prices and other bills its slow death anything less!
Remember the Nanny State says you can only work 10 hrs a day , 6 days in a row . Brokers and shippers must pass on costs to consumers not to Truck Drivers ! WE ain't working for FREE anymore!!

For the last three weeks I've been getting $1800 to $2200 for a 600 mile haul... with a $700 return load.

They dont wanna pay jack in New England states, especially Dry Vans. I still dont get why its so cheap outta there.... And what really pisses me off people taking loads for $450 bucks for 600 miles !!!! You gotta be dumb , cause your losing money.... Might as well deadhead, at least less wear and tare on the truck.
