    Hard to find any freight from the Missouri boot heel that goes right back to the house much less high dollar freight... just the way it is. The 20 mile deadhead takes some of the sting out of it, too.

    I could have deadheaded back home and get paid fuel $$$ for the return trip (I could have made three turns per week instead of two) but I was hauling seed potatoes and the wet weather first put a delay on the planting in MO then forced the boss to find more trucks to get the loads down there once things dried up.
