Rog-o that's really all I got. I mean the dozer blade 24 in front bumper prolly weighs more that all your safety equipment but ima let you continue to show the crowd how little you learned while driving for the megas

I used to own a couple trucks that went 79k bobtail. They were KW C500's 420 inch wheelbase triple framed along with a half inch fishplate frame length thread a full steel bed with a 14 inch 10wide tail roll and 5 winches with a full steel skirt. The point of the telling you this I'd that yea there are heavy bobtail trucks around but your mega fleet specced Volvo ain't one of them. You can keep showing your ### if you want to but your just making us all laugh at this point.
The trucks I owned looked a lot like this

And you can keep showing KWs all you want but as I said before I could care less. This isn't a popularity contest.

I'm out. Obvious newbie that knows jack #### about this industry and wants to prove that he knows everything. A Volvo weighing 35k is absolutely absurd.

^If I had $100 for every time I heard the played out "newbie that knows jack **** about the industry, blah, blah, blah" speech. If you don't like it, then that's your problem.

The point being is that KW, Petes. and Western Stars are all know to be built heavier than your Volvo or Freightliner. You may have had more emissions crap on your Volvo but I can guarantee that the '79 Pete had more steel in it than your Volvo. All that emissions stuff is maybe at the most 500 pounds.

Frames are thinner today than they were back then. Better processes of making steel allows more for less. You have people that have been doing this for decades telling you that you are wrong. Even the guys that are set up for heavy haul. Those tractors are certainly heavier than your Volvo and even they average around 25k without a trailer. Heck, my daycab is heavier than your Volvo. With a 53' 4 axle Chaparral flatbed I scale out at 40k pounds. That is a 16k pound trailer.

When you find some scale tickets, if you ever do here is your next meal.....

Actually you can keep it. And when I get the scale tickets, it'll be your dessert.
