Sooo here's the story...
I parked wayyy at the back end of a parking lot. Was actually closer to a burger King than Walmart.
No signs that said no parking in the area I was parked.
Now more near Walmart a couple of these signs exist
My ticket said "no cmv parking" and that signs were posted. The signs didnt say "no cmv parking"..
They said no RV or Tractor Trailer.
I was neither of those, I was a bobtail truck.
Soo what do you all think?
Do I have a legitimate case to fight the ticket?
Bobtail parking ticket at walmart.. cop lied on ticket

No tractor trailer parking would include bobtail. You have no case. Pay the ticket and live and learn.
Xzay, Rubberduckin, Upright and 6 others Thank this. -
Judges on other hand hold truck drivers to the standard of "guilty until proven otherwise", so depending on the amount of the fine it may not be worth your time.Rubberduckin, MidWest_MacDaddy, snowlauncher and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not sure if you have a legitimate case but I'm guessing it's probably not worth the time. How much is the ticket?
The idea that the sign for 'tractor trailer' doesn't apply is a loser IMO but if I'm reading it right the signs could appear to be for an area you weren't parked in. -
albert l and Pnwtrucker Thank this.
