I couldn't find a power only within 300 miles when I went and got my trailer. I only had to bobtail 350 miles though.
i hope you are taking a southern route. driving bobtail can be a bit sketcy in the rain. down right scary in snow and ice
I have 2 choises: I-80 or I-90 .they are pretty similar ,weather wise, at this time of year,I-90 is more stable,I think...
i-90 def is. Of course you'll have the mountain passes in MT/ID if you're coming that far and coming into West WA.

Bobtailing across the country is great! I did it last year from California to louisville, ky. You will have three days of being able to flip u-turns anytime you want, no worry about where you're going to park and great fuel mileage. Enjoy the ride!
