Hard to come by however.
I was just happy that I was going through the Denver terminal instead of someplace like Phoenix.
Phoenix makes you drop your mt as soon as you get there. Lame.
Even lamer, some terminals don't want to let you out the gate if you are not dispatched on a load.
Denver and Inver Grove are the 2 places I usually take home times. They are both agreeable terminals to me. (Except for Denver's lack of space...) -
Denver's terminal is a cluster, especially during the fall. I absolutely hate having to t-call anything there. Last Friday I was there and it seemed that at least 25-30% of the empties in the lot were red tagged and many of them that weren't red tagged had obvious damage, like holes in the sides or roof, ripped off lights, etc. I think trailers take a real beating in that terminal just from the ridiculously tight parking situation. -
Denver terminal is a major hub, but it is too small for the traffic.
They really need to relocate to a better lot.
When I go there I will just drop my trailer behind a row and let the yard dogs find a better place for it, if they want to.
I am not going to try blindsiding in, or backing in without enough room with a sleeper. That place is way too tight. -
Depends on the mfg ... Wabash and Hyundia are fine ... but the Great Danes suck eggs.

I see Denver hasn't changed one little bit! I always parked on the street before the entrance and sat and watched the prairie dog city......those guys/gals are fun to watch!

One GOOD thing about Denver is that the construction of the rail and road is at a point we can enter from our normal way instead of running the gauntlet of parked cars on the tight turns.
