Bolt Goat goes for the green with SAV Express

That may be true. I've gotten so used to that over the years. However, I have a strong personality, a blinding smile, and sarcasm is my second language. Generally folks get over that with me. It also helps that I'm old enough to be everybody's mother and my co-driver is a Billy Goat.
The amount of damage done by a condescending attitude varies by department. It is almost inevitable from the shop, but eventually physics squares away mechanical issues.
The big one is dispatch. The otr group with jbhunt out of south Texas did me so badly I had to switch jobs, and yet other divisions within jb were great. So far, here at SAV, it looks suspiciously like I'm getting way more short and sit than my fellow new hire of narrow clearance infamy, who sports an outtie, while I have an innie.
On the other hand, I hate to be one who creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, so I plan to watch and see. If things don't smooth out, I may have another come to Jesus talk with the Fleet manager.
