    415 miles from delivery.
    Dispatch sez, "they stop receiving at 15:00 today, but go in anyway, you might get lucky. Oh, and always call me to make sure the qcomm has it right."

    So.. I got there at 16:00 and sure enough, had to backtrack to the truck stop I was going to use anyway.

    Seems unproductive to have to call dispatcher for every little thing, especially since the poor fellow is drowning in drivers as it is. But, hey? What do I know?

    7 1/2 hours drive to Joliet,and yet they expect you to get there on only 2 1/2 hours of DOT time….
    Trust me,you know a h e l l uva lot more than your dispatcher does!:rolleyes:

    Someone at that office has rocks in their heads!:confused:
