Bolus freight has the worst equipment on earth...! If you want to run ancient equipment then this is the place where you can run your license into the mud!!!!!. The owner is a ####### to his drivers, he doesn't respect anyone that he comes into contact with, and it shows because the yard looks like an abandoned junk yard out in the middle of a deserted 3rd world country no joke. I would advise any drivers thinking about going to bolus to drive somewhere else, it's not a happy family type atmosphere that they try to portray. I will say every driver has been warned!!!!!.

Beware of bolus freight systems if you are still looking to drive for them...! They have the worst equipment on earth!!!!!. The owner is a ####### to his drivers and doesn't care if you are operating ancient equipment because he goes home to his central heat and air conditioned house every evening. The yard looks like a 3rd world country because it is housing like early 1999 soviet type trucks and trailers from the old soviet era!!!!. This owner believes macks are the best trucks on the road, this idiot has crappy trucks and rusted trailers for you to seek comfort at the weigh stations and all truck inspection stations starving because you will be putting all your hard earned money for fines when you check out and head out for the open company junk yard. Bolus will turn out the light that is a promise for you to drive elsewhere!!!!!.

Holy #### LOL 9/10. Great rant. I'll avoid them like the plague. Sounds like their level of efficiency and productivity is right up there with a submarine with screendoors. -
There was a time, not long ago, when any equipment violations fell squarely on the company and the driver wasn't held responsible other than perhaps paying the fine if found with equipment violations or put OOS. In those days, if a company refused to fix a known problem, you could always wheel the truck into the nearest DOT scale house and have them inspect it. That would likely encourage the company to fix the problem, especially if it resulted in an OOS situation.
That all changed in 2010 with CSA. Now, the company AND the driver are on the hook for the violation, and a driver gets points on his CSA record and PSP. Too many of them and you become unhireable, and can perhaps lose your CDL for a period of time.
Anyone going to work for a company that doesn't properly maintain their equipment is just asking for trouble.
