Booting Scam In Memphis Again

Hopefully the city of Memphis goes after this company and anybody associated with it and locks the fools up.. And revokes thier towing license

 

Memphis is strictly a pass through city. I will never stop there.

 

I stopped at a small place for the night across from the Pilot on 78. That's the only time in my career that I wrapped my seat belt around my door handle.
After that, it was the Schneider facility in West Memphis every time.

I read about that woman who went out for a jog at like 0500 and got kidnapped, raped, and killed. I was like WTF, would go jogging at 0500 in Memphis?

 

Make that 0400........I mean, what are you thinking???? In Memphis???

Another normal day in Memphis lol...in all seriousness though it's a lot of schemers there. Drivers need to plan accordingly. Memphis is trucker friendly more than people know, as you don't necessarily have to rely on truck stops to take a 10. Certain shopping centers are ok to sleep at and nobody will mess with you. That said, if you have enough hours to get into Mississippi, or farther east in Tennessee, or Arkansas, pass through and park somewhere else. Plenty of quality parking outside of Memphis.

 

My goodness can't win for losing there. When I go home, I always park in front of the apt complex on a side street. It's very quiet, and one of my many "hideouts." I'll tell ya man, it took some years to really scope around to find the safe spots.

 

I never had any trouble down on the island. I spent lots a nights on Chelsea Avenue too at Southern Cotton ADM has it now. There was a feed mill down off 55 too I’d go too never in a million years thought I’d forget the name of that place. It was easy to get on the wrong street ant have a low bridge I think…..slept outside their gate quite often. Course I think Doc would sit up in front seat after I was asleep but I’m not sure. There was a transload place that we would take white rice too and they would off load it from our hopper to a container. They were picky that each trailer had the same net so they could get 3 to a container. Stayed at CGB in west Memphis really often. Never had any trouble so I was lucky. Course as a rule people are lookin to steal better #### than what they got or #### with value….I guess I need better ####
