I just got held up on delivery in Montana. So I did a float trip on Saturday. Pictures on my thread. Don’t have to bring anything. They do and provide everything.

Otherwise writing, reading, learning. Getting back into exercise. Based on this life. Much in dynamic stretching.

Any company that doesn’t allow intelligent life forms in the truck is a deal breaker.

I go to thrift stores and buy a bunch of books. You can get paper bags for about $.50. Check out the jack reacher series.

Exercise (regularly) can easily take up lots of "spare time". Don't fret (intended) the lack of music skills. I took up fiddle a few years ago. Never tried an instrument before in my life. It was slow going but one does develop skills. This year I also finally tested for my Ham licenses, passed all the tests to go from non-licensed to the top license level (Extra). I will be installing a Ham radio soon for yet another thing to do out here.

I like your idea of drawing, can always work on that, lots of mediums to explore too. I mean seriously, there are all kinds. Writing? Start with joining an internet based group of like-minded individuals for help and support. Just so many possibilities. Whatever you try, make a good effort at it before deciding to move on.

I'd suggest something that can just possibly make you some money on the side too. Never know where that may lead someday. In any event good luck OP.....

No, I haven't. I'll tell the wife about it; she's the one active on day trading now.
    What's it's name; 'Stash"...?

Could learn new languages. It's not real expensive with babble and they're short lessons. I like writing letters to tell my trucker stories to friends who dont have Facebook and stuff.

    homeskillet and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this.
