I know for a 100% fact that the OP drank a 30 pack of Natural Ice every 2 days. He got banned, so he cannot speak for himself, but I will tell you I have known him my whole life, literally. I was speaking with Bob, and he asked if I had posted anything negative about him on the internet. I told him no, did a Google search, found it, and decided to add my .02. I have absolutely no vested interest in this whatsoever. I very seriously doubt he would re-consider me for employment, because I left with some unprofessional and unkind words. That's all. I could care less what you think. He is down 1 driver out of 3, so it's not like there is an 800 recruiting number. Besides, he doesn't even run under Boro Enterprises anymore anyway. It seems like you care more about this than I do. All I am looking for is a car hauling job where I can get home every week if not daily. Local doesn't pay as much, and the last guy I did locals intrastate for turned out to be a real #######, a liar, and a thief. Boro may not have paid well back in the day, but Bob is not a liar, thief, or crook. The worst thing he ever did really was to send me out and not tell me where I was going ahead of time, or how many pickups I had, or in reality what the load paid.

No, learn to read. I have NO EXPERIENCE with inops or 10 car haulers. I would be GLAD to learn. It pays more after all. I will drive any car hauler more than 7 cars if someone will teach me. As far as inops, no I haven't done them, but I think I can hold down the switch on a winch or use a remote control, and from what I heard, many are loaded and unloaded by forklift. No I will not haul a box around, unless it is a true drop and hook line haul operation, where I am home every day, or close to it, preferably a union company.

I wish the Wagoneers guy would write back. I HATE long applications, and based on my personal experience, the Wagoners app will take at least 30-45 minutes to fill out, AND I don't know what their requirements are, whether they use DAC (I didn't finish orientation at TMC, and Rosedale did a hiring freeze right after hiring me a week later after being on the road with a trainer, who was very happy that I could drive 11 hours a day {makes you wonder who they come across}, but that's all that is on my DAC, but it looks bad because it shows a month at two companies. That is why I generally avoid large companies where DAC reports and computers decide who to hire. I am clean cut, personable, professional, and almost always get hired if I get an interview. There has only been three interviews in my entire lifetime where I did not get the job, but computers are so much smarter than the people that do the hiring, or so they think.

As I said before, I was told by management at TMC that because I didn't complete orientation I don't have to list them as employers, but Rosedale through a fit when I didn't list TMC, because it did list TMC on my DAC report. I don't know if Rosedale is on there, but I assume that it is. I WANTED to do flatbed initially, but discovered I was scared of heights. A car hauler top deck is 8-9 feet off the ground, but the container on top of the flatbed was 13'6", with nothing to hold on to. I know it doesn't sound like much of a difference, but believe me, it is. You also have cars to hold onto on top of a car hauler, and I have actually jumped off of one.

Like I said, I will take ANY car hauling job that gets me home regularly, not 34 hour resets at truck stops thought the country. I have a wife and three young children I would like to see grow up, so 2 weeks is my absolute limit, end of story, and I expect at least 48 or more hours at home if I am gone 14 days. Understand that in my previous car hauling job, I was at home in bed every Saturday and Sunday, and most Wednesdays. I want to learn 10 car and inops. Next time, read more carefully my friend. I just need the training, but most companies want you to have the experience on a stinger before they will hire you, so this begs the question: Where do you get the experience? If you have a 10 car hauler and are willing to go out on the road with me a week or two until I learn to run the dual set of 18 hydraulics and know what I am doing, offer me a job. If you know anyone who will train a 7 car EZ loader to run a 10 car hauler, let me know. One thing I don't have to do and won't do is be an OTR driver in the sense that you get three days off for every 21 days out. Now that I will not do. I am comfortable with a week out, and will consider 2 weeks if the pay is good enough, but that is my max.

Oh and about the firearms, that is one of my favorite hobbies, and was just talking about it. That's all. It has very little to do with trucking. Just talking. Looking for folks with similar interests. I want to start competing in NRA service and high-power rifle competitions, but I need more practice. I am a NRA Life Member. I am also a member of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. I am a right-wing nut job, and am as Conservative as possible. Read this VERY carefully: I did not vote for Mitt Romney. Instead, I voted AGAINST Obama (I did ACTUALLY cast a vote for Romney). If I had my own way, I wish Mike Huckabee had run again this time. My favorite candidate this time around was Herman Cain, but he dropped out of the race after those girls started spewing all their crap.

Wouldn't you like to know? Learn to spell and capitalize. Use proper grammar basically. We are not texting, and even then I don't write like that. Which drugs are YOU on?

I hope you enjoyed them. If you are a car hauler and have an emty truck, let me know, or if you know someone who is.

Perhaps it was the case then, but it is not anymore. Some people clean up their acts. There was probably bad load planning that week but it happens. He does pay better now, and you won't have to sleep in hotel because he has sleepers now. People have their own reasons for speaking up for someone. People change, and when they do, people deserve to know. Someone who treats and pays their employees better should have their updated stories told. People do change. Trust me. I know. I did, and so did he. Why are you guys so intent on beating up on me and Bob? He is a better employer now, and I am a better person. The person who slept in cars made more money than sitting at home! The only thing is someone can only do that so long before it catches up I would imagine, but as has been repeated a million ties, Bob does not have anymore daycabs, so it is now a moot point. No new driver will be subjected to that, and as I also said, I heard he pays more, probably because he couldn't find people with any experience that would work for what he payed way back then.

I have nothing personal against you or Bob just was agreeing with the OP that it was bad he was making his drivers sleep in cars. If he indeed did clean up his act that's great. I don't see how it makes any difference to potential drivers now as you said he doesn't operate under Boro anymore.
